Section: Community
The Centre of African Studies plays host to a vibrant community of staff, researchers and postgraduates. Besides academic activities Centre members engage in a wide range of other activities, from football (in practice for 2011) to language training, barbecues (or braais), taking part in reading and cultural groups, fieldtrips and retreats, to supporting the Africa in Motion film festival.
