The Swahili society was started over 10 years ago and meets every week for Swahili teaching lessons.
There's a beginners and an advanced group. Otherwise we have socials together to share our love for East Africa by e.g. going to any events in Edinburgh such as African Film Festival, Fundraising events, Bongo Club African Nights, watching movies related to Swahili or the region, going to pubs to socialise, cooking together, we'll have a bonding with Drumming society, people can meet and exchange their experiences or find out about opportunities for projects for working and travelling etc.
