Lectureships in African Studies and in International Development
The University of Edinburgh seeks to appoint to three Lectureships in the School of Social and Political Science’s Centre of African Studies.
The posts, all of which are available from January 2019, are:
• Lecturer in African Studies
• Lecturer in Africa and International Development
Both of the above posts are available on a full-time, open-ended basis.
The third post:
• Lecturer in African Studies and Development
is available on a full-time basis, but for a fixed-term duration, until end December 2020.
The Lecturers will be key participants in the School’s activities both in African Studies and in International Development.
Applicants should have a PhD completed, by the start date, in a relevant area. All appointees will provide excellence in teaching and research, and contribute in other capacities, including contributions in administration, to the work of the Centre and the School.
