Successful GCRF grant for Laura Jeffery, Lucy Lowe, and Jean-Benoit Falisse

Awarded a 3-year £3m Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) grant under the ESRC Development-based approaches to Protracted Displacement funding stream.

Laura Jeffery, Lucy Lowe, and Jean-Benoit Falisse, in collaboration with colleagues at QMU and ARQ International and in Somalia, DRC, Kenya, and South Africa, have been awarded a 3-year £3m Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) grant under the ESRC Development-based approaches to Protracted Displacement funding stream. This project aims to improve healthcare at the intersection of gender and protracted displacement amongst Somali and Congolese refugees and IDPs in eight field sites in Somalia, Eastern DRC, Nairobi, and Johannesburg.
